Singapore Botanic Gardens

Singapore Botanic GardenSingapore may be the city country that I love to visit most. And whenever I go there, this is the place that I’ll never get bored to visit, Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Not only that it’s very beautiful and amazingly big, these gardens offer you a fresh journey for people who love flowers and plants for relaxation. Even better, it’s opened almost the whole day from 5 a.m. in the morning until 12 midnight everyday (without any closing day) and it also doesn’t charge you with any admission fee except for its National Orchid Garden.

The attractions and gardens you can find inside include: National Orchid Garden, Rainforest, Evolution Garden, Ginger Garden, Botany Centre and Tanglin Gate, Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden, plus three beautiful lakes including Symphony Lake, Eco-Lake and Swan Lake.

These Botanic Gardens are so big, which is around 74 hectares and 2.5 kms long from the north to south gate.

It will take you at least five hours to be able to enjoy the whole journey without having to rush, just to enjoy the fresh air there provided by the trees, plants, and flowers.

If you ever step your foot in Singapore, these aren’t the attractions to miss.

  1. Me too! I never skip these botanic gardens everytime I’m there. They are applying for UNESCO world heritage site position in 2012, I haven’t known the result but good for them if they won it 🙂
