This is special type of pasta coming from Valtellina area in the Province of Sondrio, Lombardy, Italy. The location is in the mountain area (highlands).
The temperature is fresh even during summer and that’s why this type of pasta is the right menu to be eaten around there as it’s quite creamy and heavy. The pasta dish is called Pizzocheri dell’Academia.
I had the menu when I was having a short trip in the mountain there to enjoy fresh air during hot summer in July 2012 and the weather there is good for people who search some different temperature during the warm sunny season 😉
